Our Daily Manna Daily Devotional June 29, 2017 – By BISHOP (DR) CHRIS E. KWAKPOVWE

Topic: BUILD YOUR CHARACTER! BUILD YOUR LIFE! [Thursday June 29, 2017]
( 1 SAMUEL 14:40-45; 2 SAMUEL 1:25-27).

Some years ago, a Lagos-based industrialist received a surprise package when the ambassador of one of the European countries invited him for lunch at the country’s embassy. On getting to the embassy, the industrialist met a teamof business men from the European country. They werein Nigeria to perfect plans for an investment in agriculture. They told the ambassador that they wanted someonewho was not only knowledgeable in that area, but also trustworthy.

The industrialist was called upon by the ambassador because of his past good character/integrity in life and business. God is taking to you today about building your career and your character together in 2017! Experts say that in the pursuit of professional breakthroughs, you lose more than you think you gain if you leave character/integrity behind. Shun all the temptations to cut corners in 2017! Don’t sell substandard goods! Don’t make promises you cannot keep! Don’t break government rules! Don’t escape your tax payments! Don’t borrow what you cannot pay back! Strictly follow the ethics of your profession! Be fair on competition!

Never forget that integrity will open doors fro you and your children because integrity is the ebst collateral in life, business and ministry. Hear David Balsiger: “You can always tell what a man is, by what he does when no one is looking over his shoulders.” Then, Lord Mountbatten also wrote: “I can’t think of more wonderful thanksgiving for the life I have had than that everyone should be jolly at my funeral.” That was the story of Jonathan!

The people defended him from a ruthless ‘dictator’ – his father, and even at death, he was described as “Jonathan who was slain in his high places.” “High places” mean “A GOOD NAME.” As 2017 moves on, build your life, career, business or ministry with character, because words are nothing where character speaks! Peace!

4. Give out EXTRA copiesof ODM like never before. I see EXTRA FAVOR and PROMOTION coming your way this year in Jesus Christ name.
