BISHOP (DR) CHRIS E. KWAKPOVWE Daily Devotional May 31 2017 - DELAY ANTIDOTE: SHE FIXED HER HEART!
( PSALM: 108:1-13).

“Praise the Lord. Dear Dr. Chris, I don’t know where to start from but God is truly faithful. According to Romans 8:28, all things work together for good to them that love God. In ODM of one of the days in September 2016, the teaching of the day captured my situation. You said that God allows some negative things to happen to us, because He has great positive things in His master plan for us. Set backs are permitted to set us up. Sometimes, pain is permitted to purify and promote us and delays sometimes are permitted to enable all Satanic correspondence against us to be disgraced.

My promotion was delayed for 6 years, but I never doubted who God was in my life and what He could do, irrespective of the year. My heart was fixed unto God. Every year I participated in the 21-day prayer and fasting program, I sowed into ODM no matter how little and gave my first fruit offerings. I told God that I wanted my testimony to be published in ODM for the world to read and glorify our God Jehovah as I always read other testimonies and praise our living God.

Truly 2017 is our year of Evidence! I was promoted on the 31st of January, 2017. Secondly, God has been kind to me and my family. He blessed and favored me. To him alone be all the glory and honor. Dr. Chris, God will continue to move you and the ministry forward in Jesus Christ name. I want my identity hidden sir. Thank you Sir” – from Sister J.O .’ Blessed be God for this great testimony! They are so many from across the globe that there is no space to publish them. This Sister’s delay was for 6 years but do you know that there are battles in which one day or even one second delay can be life and death? That means no delay should be taken for granted, whether it is for one day, one week, one year, five years, ten years, thirty years, etc. Delays is delay and the same anointing that brought the best wine as the last wine shall cause your delay to end up in a mighty celebration.

Note that She wrote: “Every year I participated in the 21-day prayer and fasting program, I sowed into ODM no matter how little and gave my fist fruit offerings.” That means, while waiting for your change to come, DON’T STOP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING NOW! Continue to continue! Oh, I love the lines: “My heart was fixed.” That was the same thing David declared in Psalm 57:7: “My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.” He said the same thing in Psalm 108: 1: “O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.” That is the attitude of receiving from God in any delay situation.

PRAYER POINTS: Take Song 1: Great is thy faithfulness……
1. Thank God for today’s word and pray as you are led!
2. Holy Ghost, paralyse by Your anointing, every power of delay challenging my EVIDENCE.
3. Lord God, turn every plan to shame to fame.
4. Lord, give me a reason to dance this year.
5. Lord, give me a shortcut to my Promised Land ( Pray it seriously for 3 days, day and night).
6. Pray about today seriously and any other issue(s) affecting your peace.
